HEALTHCARE TECHNICIAN, MEDICAL LASERS

We offer an exciting CAREER OPPORTUNITY in the medical field. Our trained laser technicians deliver (in company vehicle) and operate lasers/provide technical assistance and excellent customer service to surgeons in operating rooms at regional medical facilities. We provide extensive technical training on the set up and safe operation of our medical lasers. You are a team member in the operating room; participating in surgical procedures and communicating with medical staff throughout the case.
Your schedule depends on our client’s surgery schedule and drive time to facility. Plan on early starts and/or late afternoons. Occasional overnight travel is required. All travel expenses are reimbursed by the company. You receive your work schedule usually by 3:00 p.m. for next day procedures. Company vehicles and all equipment are kept at the office or storage facility. Technicians can be scheduled an average of 3-5 days/week.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Prior military service; healthcare background are encouraged to apply.
Surgical technologist or EMT training preferred.
Good driving record and valid driver's license required.
Excellent communication skills.
Superior customer service skills.
Ability to adapt to frequent change in daily schedule.
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to push/pull +50 pounds of medical laser equipment.
Some college education preferred.
